Three vitals. Complete picture.
❤️
Blood Pressure
Systolic + diastolic. Logged after every reading.
Eva alerts family if outside safe range.
🩸
Blood Sugar
Fasting and post-meal glucose logs. Trend tracking over time. Critical for diabetic parents.
⚖️
Weight
Daily or weekly weight logging, kept in one place with your other readings.
Why vitals alerts matter: A blood pressure reading above 180/120 is classed as a hypertensive crisis in the
2017 ACC/AHA guideline, 2018 and calls for prompt medical attention. Cureva alerts your family the moment your parent logs an out-of-range reading, so someone can call, check in, or act before it becomes a crisis.
How it works
1
Your parent logs a reading
They type or tap their reading directly in the Cureva app. Takes 10 seconds.
2
Cureva checks the number
The app compares the reading against standard healthy ranges. Blood pressure, glucose, and weight each have defined thresholds.
3
Your family is notified
If the reading is out of range, every connected family caregiver gets a push notification. The alert includes the exact reading.
4
Doctor gets the weekly report
Cureva compiles a weekly vitals log and sends it to the connected doctor automatically. No manual printouts. No forgetting to mention the numbers at the appointment.
Why other apps fall short
| Feature | Cureva | Generic health apps |
| Blood pressure tracking | ✓ With out-of-range alerts | Log only, no alerts |
| blood sugar tracking | ✓ Fasting + post-meal | ✗ Often not included |
| Family alert system | ✓ Push to all caregivers | ✗ Not available |
| companion check-in | ✓ Eva daily check-in | ✗ Not available |
| Doctor report generation | ✓ Auto-generated PDF weekly | ✗ Not available |
| Medication tracking alongside | ✓ One app for everything | ✗ Separate app needed |
Who needs this most
Cureva's vitals tracking is built for families managing parents with hypertension, diabetes, or heart conditions. The conditions where a missed reading or an ignored high number can spiral fast. If your parent manages any of these conditions, you need eyes on their numbers every day.
Many families find out about a hypertensive crisis only when the parent calls an ambulance or calls them in a panic. Cureva gives you a chance to intervene before it gets there.

Common Questions
Does Cureva connect to blood pressure monitors or glucometers via Bluetooth?
Not currently. Your parent reads the number from their device and types it into Cureva. Manual entry takes 10 seconds and works with any brand of monitor or glucometer, no compatibility issues.
What counts as an out-of-range blood pressure reading?
Cureva's thresholds are based on the
2017 ACC/AHA guideline, 2018.
high blood pressure alert triggers above 140/90 (hypertension stage 2). Low blood pressure alert triggers below 90/60. These are guidelines: always follow your parent's doctor's advice.
What blood sugar levels trigger an alert?
Fasting glucose above 130 mg/dL or below 70 mg/dL triggers a family alert. Post-meal readings above 180 mg/dL trigger an alert. These are standard diabetic monitoring thresholds.
Does Cureva give medical advice based on the readings?
Never. Cureva flags readings and alerts family. Any alert includes a recommendation to consult a doctor. Cureva is a monitoring tool, not a diagnostic tool.
Can multiple family members see the vitals readings?
Yes. All connected caregivers see the same vitals dashboard. Add up to 5 family members and up to 5 professional caregivers per person from the app.
